Eleni Foscolos

Counsel

Eleni is a counsel at CAST. She developed a strong foundation in IP and regulatory law through experience at EU institutions, including the EUIPO and the EDPS, as well as in-house in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector.


She advises on all areas of IP law, with a focus on trade marks, designs, and copyright. She represents clients in infringement, opposition, and cancellation proceedings before the Belgian and EU courts, the BOIP and EUIPO. She manages IP portfolios as well across multiple industries like tobacco, food and beverage or IT.


Eleni has a pragmatic and business-oriented approach ensuring that legal strategies are not only robust but also aligned with clients’ commercial objectives, helping them protect, enforce, and maximise the value of their IP assets.

  • Representing a British and Belgian company in the protocol communication industry in a competition and patent infringement case before the Belgian courts.
